In September, the Cape Elizabeth School Building Advisory Committee (SBAC) finalized the selection of Harriman as the architectural firm for the school building project. A public forum was hosted on September 20th to discuss the results of a town-wide survey, which was deployed to all households in July and August 2023 and saw an impressive participation from nearly 25% of Cape Elizabeth’s adult population. The month was marked by a series of strategic meetings, interviews with design candidates, and consistent communication planning, ensuring the project stays on a robust trajectory toward its milestones. The SBAC continues to prioritize transparency and community involvement in each step forward.
